that i have never read "to kill a mockingbird" before?

it is 7:30 on a thursday night.
the house is quiet,
and i have a 3 day weekend ahead of me.

instead of doing the supper dishes
or catching up on the endless mountain of laundry...
instead of losing myself in pinterest pages
or making more lists of healthy foods i should be eating but aren't
and all the exercises i should be doing but don't wanna...
instead of watching more re-runs of judge judy
or getting depressed sorting out bills,

instead...
i think i'm going to read.

i'm going to curl up in the chair by the window with a blanket
and i'm going to read "to kill a mockingbird"...

i might even have a bowl of ice cream.
