whatcha readin'? {goal 35 - book 13, 14 and 15}

I am very, very behind on posting
the books I have read for 2021…
to make up for that,
I am going to try posting them in
multiples now until I catch up…
so here are books
13, 14 and 15.

13.

I was expecting this to be a light, quick read.
Not really what it was.
A heavy subject (abortion) and a jumpy
timeline with a lot of characters
made me feel confused and frustrated.

But it might have just been me.
Sometimes if you read a book at the wrong time,
your brain rejects it I think.
And I wanted a light read.

14.

I enjoyed this book.
I know this because I gave it 5 out of 5 hearts.
But I also didn’t make any notes of why
I loved it and if you know me,
you know my brain immediately deletes
a book from my memory when I
finish reading it….
so I really can’t remember why I liked it
but apparently,
I really liked it.
Maybe you will, too.

5♥’s out of 5

15.

My one note that I had written
about this book was:
little bit of a hard read. grim.

and then I gave it 3.5 hearts
so…..
not sure what else I can say.
