friday i'm in love...{& yes, i know it's sat...i'm late!}

-  with the video of humans performing animal courtships

-  with this art....i want to eat it...

-  with these adorable little miniature homes...i would like to try something like this but i know the cats would seek and destroy...

-  i love austin kleon...and i love lists...and i love to read...so....

-  this blog...that i used to follow and then kind of lost track again...but finding it again was like finding an old friend...

-  speaking of friends...i went to lunch with 2 of my best friends last week and i was asking them if they ever get a random urge to do or say/yell something out of character at an inappropriate time...(i am slightly concerned that it is just me and maybe my mind is going and i'm going to be a little old lady that randomly curses and hits people in public places, if you want to know the truth.)  One of my friends sent me this a couple of days later and i was like YES!  I AM NOT ALONE.  everyone's brain sometimes becomes a jerk and tries to mess with their head.  right?  that's how this should be taken, right?  (please note #3 and #8 on the list)

-  the cranberry goat cheese salad (minus the goat cheese, of course) at Pizza Delight...no photo...cause i ate it all!  Stirling got the Burger Love and he loved it!

up my game.  i am totally determined.  :)  oh...and i really, really, REALLY want to upgrade to this...

friday i'm in love...the big city edition

♥ i had to be on course this week in Charlottetown...
while i was there, i had the opportunity to eat at Leonhard's
which i have walked by many times,
but have never gone in.
the food was delicious and the decor
made me drool as much
as the smell of the fantastic food...

♥ speaking of the decor of Leonhard's,
there was a painting across from where i was sitting
that literally took my breath away...
and it's been popping up in my mind ever since.
it was done by an island artist that i was familiar with
and have liked her work all along
but this...
this one really got a grip on me.
i had to google search it when i got home...
it's called "3 trees & we are home"
i just want to melt into it.

♥ the bookmark is an independent bookstore
that i have always loved...i have always missed the
"paper station" that they used to have but was
so happy to see that they have added a great
section of art supplies & board games & puzzles
as well as books! 
so many things i wanted to buy but in the end
i settled for this

with wedding photos and grad photos and
baby belly photos...
sunsets you had forgotten you had witnessed...

with 60% off sales racks...and the skirt
that i had been eyeing for months
but wouldn't pay full price for
was on the rack today!

with this music video...and really, the song too...
my kids laugh because i still listen to what does the fox say
by choice
but little do they know...i have the whole album on a
playlist in google music :)

this cover of Roxette's "must have been love"
normally hearing Roxette is the equivalent of nails on
the chalkboard of my memory because
i worked at a record store when Look Sharp came out
and we had to play that tape

so...yes...it grates on my nerves now...
