friday i'm in love...the weird and random edition

♥i just realized i could probably do a whole album of
middle of the road
photos. I might just do that. :)

♥the northern pikes are playing in moncton.
i just literally belted out teenland just now
and realized i’m just a girl with a problem
(haha…not really, that’s just next in the playlist)

♥i love the internet
i know there is no secret in that.
but i absolutely love the small connections that can be made.
i was talking to someone today that i have not met yet in person,
just in the virtual world….
happy meals became a topic of conversation, as they often do
when conversing with me…and he said “i still have the happy meal
muppet baby toys” I was like, “me too!” and excitedly snapped
a photo of baby gonzo (missing his trike) to show him…
meanwhile…he sends me a photo of ALL FOUR muppet babies
STILL IN THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING….
and didn’t even have to look for them…
had them right there at his fingertips!!
(so then i had to try to one up him with my 119 smurf collection
but, honestly?
i was totally jealous of his muppet babies.)

♥this artist….i am in love with these.

♥this hits home right now…know someone struggling with anxiety?
it’s hard to watch…you feel pretty helpless. This was a good read.

♥i kinda can’t wait for this…and now i want to re-read the book

♥i seriously want to do this…preferably with someone who has
maybe done it before or at least knows what a coywolf is…
but…wild horses, you guys!

♥and i can’t tell you how much i love how many comments,
emails and messages I got about my 50 before 50 post….
that totally made my day. Every time I release something to the universe
via this website or social media, I cringe a little inside thinking
”well. you’ve done it now. people are going to officially think you are weird.”
and then everyone is so sweet which really only encourages me more,
you know that, right? Heehee. But seriously…thank you for that.

friday i'm in love...

♥ this post makes me want white walls and terra cotta pots,
plants and gardens and sighhhhh….to go to France…

♥ PEI has banned single use plastic bags so I have been looking online
for some inexpensive cute alternatives…so many to choose from! Also….
yay, PEI for doing this! :)

♥ kind of on the same subject…less plastic…considering shampoo bars…

♥ i seriously fell in love with this…everything about it…the fact that she did a lot of herself, the
cat amenities, AND THE SCOOTER!

♥ PEI strawberries are out! which means…STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE!

♥ with the fact that the rain stopped & i was able to get out for a walk

♥ polka dot rainboots

♥ these adorable Emily of New Moon boxes (now I kinda want to re-read the Emily books)

♥ i could live on these tomatoes….they are like candy…and if you know me, you know that is high praise.

♥ oh i love books…and i especially love memoirs…and lists. so a list of memoirs? yes, please!! :)

friday i'm in love...

♥ with getting back outside again…sometimes with a pug on a leash,
sometimes in polka dot rain boots and a winter hat
but almost always with a camera of some kind…
this is where I am always happy.

♥ this trailer just gave me goosebumps. :)

♥ i am trying to put my phone down more often
so this article on binge reading struck me….

♥ i get a lot of headaches…and no, that is not my friday i’m in love…
but i started thinking that it was related to my neck and maybe
either how i am sleeping (or not sleeping as the case often is)
and the amount of time i spend on a computer…so i tried some yoga
for neck and shoulders and i honestly cannot believe the difference
it has made. i had no idea that the trapezius muscle could actually
be the root cause of my headaches…

♥ if you know me, you know i love ice cream…almost as much as i love fridays!

I desperately love sunrise/sunset light…sigh.

♥ WATCHING: this show is totally killing me…

♥ DRINKING: chai tea (cause you know…it’s been almost 2 weeks
since I gave up diet coke! ok…I had one. Haha)

♥ COVETING: this totally sweet as sugar Alice in Wonderland doll…with the
her little “drink me” vial…sigh.

♥ INSPIRED BY: this youtube video of Diane Von Fursternberg’s Ted Talk
and I honestly know virtually nothing about her. I just happened across it…
and was happy that I did.

♥ BLOG-LOVE: I know I have shared this before…but seriously….this
blog makes me so incredibly happy….
