i don’t feel like doing anything
right now
except losing myself in the rabbit hole
world of internet
researching new rubber boots,
making garden plans,
looking at pretty dresses,
and googling why my nose is twitching
on one side…
(i am hoping it’s actually the beginning
of a super power that i am secretly developing
and not the symptom of some new virus)…

♥ I need to learn how to do embroidery.

♥ I have seriously fallen in love with peter pan collars.

♥ I know I have said this before but I love this blog.

forgive me…
the days have become a bit of a blur…

I started the week with
a schedule and a plan
but today
I feel a little detached,
a little lost on what I should do next…
I know I have lots I can do
but there seems to be nothing
I want to do.

So I thought I would distract myself
with the rabbit hole of the internet
for a little bit
and see if I can find some
inspiration.

Wanna come along?
I promise to keep 6 feet away
(I know what 6 feet is now after my
Christmas light debacle…heehee)

is something we should strive for…not to fail,
but to put ourselves out there…to push out of that comfort zone…
sure, you might fail…
but…you might just succeed.
This hit home for me…I think I have already been moving
with that mindset
but this kind of reinforced it.

this is my first framed print…and I am kind of excited about it…

everywhere i look
it’s hearts and flowers
and sweet sentiments & valentine wishes…

but for some reason
tonight
my head is full of buccaneers
and bony skeletons,
torn treasure maps,
and bonny anne the girl pirate
sailing on a turbulent sea,
scaring the boys
and whistling for whales
who will float along beside her
and take her on the
next great adventure…
where she will lead mutinies
and rebellions and
make friends with the
jellyfish
and share secrets and bread crumbs
with the seagulls…
