This book was ok…
I didn’t love it, I didn’t hate it.
It didn’t grab me, it didn’t hold onto me
in a death grip making me
need to know what happened next.
But…it was ok.

Sometimes
I am very social.
I crave connections and plans and outings …
it takes everything I have to
stay inside the house.
Sometimes
I am the opposite.
I want to sink into my space,
light candles, burn incense…
scribble in journals, watch youtube videos
of people who seem to have their
life in order
with a pen and paper fervently making notes
that I will tuck away
and then forget
where I put them.
This has been one of the stick-at-home days
which leads me to my first friday-i’m-in-love
and if it’s the only one I share, that’s ok…
this one is SO good:
If you have not watched this,
you need to do so now.
It was soooooooooooooo good.
It caught ALL of my emotions…
the storyline, the writing, the clothes,
oh my gawd, the clothes…
and the girl playing Beth
was so breathtakingly interesting and beautiful to watch.
All of the characters were so great
and the whole series
had me sitting on the
edge of my seat
biting my nails and
rooting for her.
Other random things I am
currently crushing on:
No-name chicken burgers from Superstore (I never claimed to be fancy)
This shampoo/conditioner has made such a huge difference in my fine hair.
I love it!
This girl’s Insta & website makes me want to pick up my camera again
I don’t actually know a lot about anna kendrick
to be honest
but I was drawn to this book
but that cute little title….
scrappy little nobody.
That just sounds like a book I want to read.
And it was good.
I like memoir kind of biography mixed with
a little coming-of-age….
I fully enjoyed reading this.

NEXT UP:: RE JANE - PATRICIA PARK
where have i been?
i have been asking myself that same question.
during summer,
i usually let things slide
over here in the land of
geekiness
but this year,
it seemed to slide right into fall.
when that happens,
i try not to panic.
i think maybe it’s just my brains way
of saying to take a rest
and let yourself be inspired instead,
a gentle reminder to
fill your well - it’s getting empty.
i did take a lot more photos
this summer & fall then i have
in a long time
so that was a nice change.
i also finally went to a book club that
i have been a part of for a long time…
and the book we are doing is the Artist’s Way
which made me very happy.
i have done the book before but
it was years ago and on my own.
this is a fun, different way to do it…
i like being held accountable to some degree
and it’s been interesting to get other views on it
and ideas plus i love the thought of making
connections with other people
outside your own circle…
i kinda think
that’s where the synchronicity seeds can start being planted.
happy sunday! :)
