friday i'm in love sorta kinda....

It’s been a strange kinda
up and down sorta day….

beautiful and sunny
but I still don’t want to go anywhere
because there are still trees and lines down
and I am not sure
I am ready to see the beaches yet…

day off but
not for a happy reason….
instead I feel heavy like lead
and quiet….

but sometimes,
you just gotta push through
to find yourself
on the other side
of your own feelings
and focus on the
things you love….

FRIDAY I’M IN LOVE:

♥ this version of addicted to love
♥ reading on the deck wrapped in a blanket

♥ getting back to the little blue desk
hanging out with sassy little geekgirls
with stripey socks and an attitude.

friday i'm in love.....(but not with fiona....stupid hurricane head)

well….the hatches are battened
and there is chicken fricot on the stove,
fresh biscuits and cinnamon sugar donuts
from water street bakery,
frozen water bottles
ready to do double duty
as a cold back up if needed for food,
phones are charged,
all the animals are safe in the house,
even the roamer Finnegan the cat
though he is not happy about it.

FRIDAY I’M IN LOVE…

♥ I finally watched Spiderman - No Way Home!!!! :)
♥ my new snoopy mug and lucky charms hot chocolate

♥ chicken fricot, french biscuits, cinnamon sugar donuts
♥ today was IPSY DELIVERY DAY!!!

friday i'm in love...

It’s a funny kinda friday…
a little dark, a little gloomy…
sorta stressy
with the whole no debit/credit
thing, not that it really affects me
directly at the moment
but my brain
gets all
this is how the end of the world happens
and wondering if the conspiracy
theorists know more than
given credit for
and then I fall down in that
little bit of a fear spiral
sooooooooo
I have just put on my smurf pjs
and am going to
hunker down with a
cold can of diet coke
and maybe get lost
in a movie for a bit…

friday i'm in love...

This was not taken today….
today is not a blue sky
sunshine-y white cloud Friday.

It is gray and cold and windy
with a constant threat of rain
but small moments where
the sun breaks through
and I bolt outside
in my pjs and ginormous bathrobe type sweater
and bunny slippers
scared that I will miss it.

It is a friday that I should be using
to clean the house,
to pay my bills,
to make to do lists that I
probably won’t do
because by the time
I have done creating them
with indexes and color coding
and fancy doodles,
the sun will have come back out
and I will be gone looking for
adventure
that does not involve checking
anything off a to do list….
unless it’s various flavors of ice cream to try.

Anyway, with that in mind,
I bring you today’s list:

♥ me and a bestie are going here to see them again Tuesday night!! :)
Andy Maize and Aaron Comeau of the Skydiggers come together for a special night of music at the Trailside.

♥ Ummm. Did someone say Space Treats? Like…astronaut food? Yes please!
I desperately want to try the freeze dried ice cream sandwich :)

♥a chance to see a whole lotta people that
I haven’t seen in a whole lot of a long time for a summer BBQ.
It’s hard to explain how happy that made me.

I met this little guy
while out taking photos
of dirt roads
and blossomy trees…
he was sweet enough to
pose for a photo…
but then he said he had to run,
something about a meeting
he was late for.

THINGS I AM LOVING ON A FRIDAY….
