friday i'm in love....(where i realize i am watching too much tv)

October 13, 2017 Arlene Giddings

♥♥♥ with surprise desk deliveries of new toys for my collection...2 smurfs AND this
adorable cookie monster with an ice cream cone.  sigh.  such awesome sweet co-worker friends i have.  ♥♥♥

♥♥♥ this show.  i mean...it's about a kid called mayonnaise.  and yeah, it's a kid's show.
but let's face it...that's what i apparently relate best to.  oh...and if you watch it,
please tell me you laughed just as hard as i did at "i'm a banana".

♥♥♥ i have been listening to this a lot.

♥♥♥ and yeah...i got sucked into this.  i didn't want to.
i watched the first one and was all like...what!  that's not really what
Archie was like...why isn't jughead eating burgers...mr lodge isn't in jail!
but...i kinda wanna know what happened to jason blossom.
and the soundtrack isn't bad either.

♥♥♥ the response to the 365 robot love project.
and my favorite thing to hear is "my kid loves your robots".
that literally just makes my heart bounce up and down...
totally in a good way.

♥♥♥ flannel sheets back on the bed...big fluffy duvets...fuzzy socks...fleece lined leggings

♥♥♥ homemade strawberry sauce...how have i NEVER made this before...

♥♥♥ kindereggs with MINIONS

♥♥♥ fall leaves...

the BIG "why not" list...

June 4, 2016 Arlene Giddings

i don't really have a bucket list.
but what i do have...
is a BIG why not list.
(and when I am feeling really rebellious,
it becomes the BIG why the hell not list :) )

i started this list a long time ago,
maybe 2009...
i shared it on my blog then
but since then
there have been some changes...
some things have been added
and some
have just been removed
as i have realized over time that
that maybe that thing is just not that important to me anymore.

and...
some things have been COMPLETED!

a few people have asked about my list
so i thought maybe i would share it again
since i recently updated it to include it in my

what the list actually looks like right now in my bullet journal

being not to focus
on completing the bucket list,
just the tasks that are on it...
but it's good to keep adding to it.

So I guess I'm doing it right, heeheehee.

And by sharing it, I'm throwing it out there to the universe.
Take a chance, see what happens.

In 2016, list-me-up, she's so weird, the big WHY NOT list Tags the big why not list, bucket list, all the things, leaves, list, throw it out there

friday i'm in love...{and yes...i'm a day late & a dollar short}

  •   I had the opportunity to attend a course called Living Your Potential this week.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is feeling a little stuck in their
day-to-day life...anyone who sees themselves repeating similar patterns & getting the
same results & looking for a way to shake things up.  It was very insightful for me.
I definitely had more than a few "OH!  that's why I do that..." or "oh my gawd.  I didn't even
realize I was doing that!" moments.  The facilitators are fantastic and supportive while
not letting you get by with giving the "easy" answers (which is something I know I tend to do
in order to deflect the attention from me).

  •   finding this beautiful blog again...i don't know how i lost it in the first place...

  •   this instagrammer...and not just because she talks about about anne :)

  •   i must have these socks...and these...and well...maybe these!  (caution:: profanity...Mom, don't   click these links.  :)

  •   and cause everyone can use a lifehack or two...

  •   Do you ever get the feeling the universe is trying to tell you something?
I am not sure if I am just feeling extra-sensitive to this right now because
of the course that I just took but this idea of increasing your fitness in your
middle age is proving to be beneficial to brain activity as you age has been
popping up for me...A LOT...in the past couple of day.  And now that I think about
it, someone also asked me if I had any interest in roller derby...& that I should think
about it.  Interesting.  It's funny what you notice when you change your mindset a little.

  • and...because it's ironic to follow that with this...here is what is for supper tonight...
In friday i'm in love Tags living your potential, winding path, purple, leaves, grateful, mccains, cake for supper, diet be damned, socks that curse, roller derby
